Efficiency through innovation

Our newly developed high performance thread milling cutter GF/GFM type SHARK is now available.

A central further development at JBO is the high-performance thread milling cutter type SHARK.
It was designed as a standard tool for universal use in general machine construction for machining steel materials.
Other areas of application are in the machining of cast iron, titanium alloys and non-ferrous metals.

Finely ground flutes, an optimised cutting geometry, as well as an uneven spiral pitch in combination with a left-hand spiralisation and a new coating contribute to a uniform wear behaviour.
By increasing the number of cutting edges, cycle time reductions and tool life increases can be realised.

The storage covers for the type GF (solid carbide thread milling cutter) in the dimensions M3-M14 and for the type GFM (solid carbide multi-range thread milling cutter) in the diameters 12, 16 and 20 with the pitches 1, 1.5, 2 and 3.
